About Us
Our mission is to help people grow in their relationship with Christ through singing liturgical Chant, the highest artform of the Church; and to share this beauty with others. We seek to reignite within the hearts of the faithful an appreciation of the theological depth and sublime artfulness of liturgical Chant, primarily by showcasing this artform as the main via pulchritudine (way of beauty) of the Church.
We are committed to establishing a foundational education framework for children, adults, and clergy, inspired by the writings of the Popes over the last century.
Our goals:
1. Training for Students in Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary School settings in the foundations of Chant.
2. Training for Parish Musicians & Congregants to revive the use of Chant in the Parish context.
3. Training for Clergy to equip Seminarians, Deacons, Priests, and Bishops to confidently sing the Liturgical Chants proper to them.
4. To be part of a collaborative effort to establish a Tertiary Institute/Faculty of Sacred Music in Australia.
In these contexts of teaching, we aim to foster the growth of a new generation of catechised sacred musicians who are passionate about the practise and promotion of Liturgical Chant in the life of the Church.
